The Raccolta (1910) §361

O GLORIOUS worker of miracles, father of the poor, who, wondrously gifted with a heart full of compassion for the miseries of the unfortunate, didst by a miracle lay open the heart of a miser steeped in avarice; thou who dost offer our prayers to our LORD and obtain a hearing, accept as a proof of our gratitude the pence we lay at thy feet for the relief of misfortune. May it turn to the benefit of ourselves and of the suffering; hasten with thy usual kindness to help us in our temporal necessities, and still more to provide for our spiritual needs, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
