V/. We adore Thee, O CHRIST, and we bless Thee. R/. Because by thy death and Blood Thou hast redeemed the world. Let us pray. ALMIGHTY and everlasting GOD, who by the five wounds of thy SON, our LORD JESUS CHRIST, hast redeemed the human race, grant to thy suppliants that we who daily venerate those wounds may, by the shedding of his Precious Blood, be freed from sudden and everlasting death. Through the same CHRIST our LORD. Amen.
