Messages — Our Lady of Laus

Spoken words from the apparition accounts, curated from sanctuary, diocesan, and classic sources. Theme chips highlight recurring calls; this is not a complete critical edition of every diary line.

Selected early words of Our Lady of Good Encounter to Benoîte Rencurel at Laus (from 1664). The apparitions continued for decades; this is not the full corpus.

  1. Chapel of Good Encounter

My daughter, you have searched diligently for Me, and you should not have wept. Even so, you pleased Me by not being impatient.

I want a large church built on this spot, along with a building for a few resident priests. The church will be built in honor of my dear Son and Myself. Here many sinners will be converted. I will appear to you often here.

Do not worry. When the time comes to build, you will find all you need, and it will not be long. The pennies of the poor will provide for everything. Nothing will be lacking.

  2. Refuge of sinners

I have asked my Son for this place for the conversion of sinners, and He has granted it to me. Come here often with your friends and pray for them.
